Organisational Development and Capacity Building

FPD Compass has initiated an organisation development programme (OD) to improve the effectiveness of organisations delivering community-based initiatives. OD uses a participatory approach and is a long-term interactive process towards building effective sustainable organisations.

Key Activities

• NGO Workshops: Participatory workshops on key organisational development issues such as governance and resource mobilisation.
• NGO Scorecard: The NGO Scorecard is an assessment tool to create a system of benchmarking and accountability in the NGO sector.
• Technical Assistance: Compass can work with NGOs on needs assessment and organisational development support.
