FPD staff makes up a number of functional departments, organised into clusters and faculties. The structure reflected below will be applicable for 2011.

Dr Gustaaf Wolvaardt - Managing Director of FPD

Dr Wolvaardt is the founding Managing Director (since 1997) of the FPD.

Apart from his MD duties he also heads the Special Projects Cluster which  encompasses a variety of independent community engagement projects and business units. These include:

Ms Veena Pillay - Academic Cluster Head

Ms Pillay heads up the Academic Cluster, our Private Higher Educational Institution (PHEI), through the development of accredited programmes, student administration and quality assurance.  Our PHEI currently includes the following three schools:

Dr Rita Nathan – Technical Assistance Head

Dr Nathan is the head of  FPD's Technical Assistance Cluster. This cluster focuses on health systems strengthening by providing technical assistance, using high impact evidence based strategies. The cluster consists of the following Departments:
