Benefits of membership

Publications: The Newsletter and CPD Updates are short, punchy, 4-page quarterlies distributed mainly by e-mail but also via post on request.

• Alumni Network Newsletter  (business, legislative, medico-legal issues, surveys and research)
• HIV/AIDS/TB CPD Update (clinical 4 page update)
• Diabetes CPD Update  (clinical 4 page update)
• Hypertension CPD Update (clinical 4 page update)

CPD: The four publications collectively provide enough CPD questionnaires and related Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to meet bi-annual regulatory requirements.

Database: The Alumni Network database records members’ participation in accredited CPD events and stores related CEUs, to facilitate short, medium and long term professional development planning and for 24-month CEU HPCSA audits.

Discounts: Enrolled, paid-up members qualify for a 10% discount on all FPD courses.
