Many motor vehicle accidents are caused by drivers' poor vision. Drivers and operators could have visual de?ciencies such as near-sightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism. Cataracts could also a?ect the driver’s vision. Compliance with the visual requirements to obtain a drivers’ licence or do speci?c quality inspection work is important.
The FPD Vision Screening course prepare the healthcare professional for the challenges of testing and screening. The course complies with the Unit Standard 116505 written for the performance of a Vision screening test in the occupational setting.
