FPD’s Alumni Programme was established to help all our Alumni to stay part of the FPD community. The aim is to assist our ALUMNI to stay in touch with FPD, with each other and to stay up to date with new practices, ideas and knowledge.

All students who have studied with FPD since its inception in 1998, are invited to joint the FPD ALUMNI NETWORK.

FPD Scholarship Programme for School Leavers: Pay It Forward!

Dear FPD Alumni,

As FPD Alumni, you know that FPD strives to do good in everything we do. We are thus asking our Alumni to consider contributing to our Scholarship programme for school leavers.

Statistics released by STATSSA on 23 August 2022, revealed that the number of unemployed youths in South Africa is currently standing at 4,8 million. During November 2022, according to the Department of Basic Education, another 750 000 children sat down to write their final exams. These youngsters undoubtedly dream of either studying further in 2023 or entering the job market. But for many, both dreams will be unattainable, and they will become part of the above-mentioned unemployment statistics.

Over the past 20 years, the Foundation for Professional Development (FPD), has always strived to be a catalyst for change through the development of people. Through SAQA and CHE accredited qualifications, FPD provides a learning path for the youth to have better opportunities and a future. With your help we can make a difference in some of these young people’s lives by offering them scholarships to obtain a post-school qualification, namely the Higher Certificate in Management (NQF 5) SAQA ID: 73498. (Cost of eLearning programme per student: R15 000)

FPD calls on all our Alumni, friends, clients and suppliers to help us to PAY the gift of EDUCATION forward, by contributing to the FPD Scholarship Fund.
