Course Content
The study material will cover the following modules:
- Identify the key dimensions of quality health care and explain their relevance to the Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) programme.
- Describe the core principles of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Improvement (QI) and analyze their relationship in the context of VMMC.
- Define Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and its role in enhancing health care services.
- Explain the purpose and significance of CQI in improving outcomes within the VMMC programme.
- Describe the four key steps of the CQI process and how they are applied in VMMC.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how measurement and data support CQI initiatives and decision-making.
- Develop a SMART aim statement and formulate a SMART indicator to track progress in quality improvement efforts.
