FPD’s healthcare leadership and health systems consultancy services bridge the space between capacity gap and action. FPD has a long track record in working with funders, government partners, local stakeholders and development partners to improve upon and adapt strategies, guidelines and tools to the local context, co-designing learning programmes to make content accessible, and building the capacity and confidence of healthcare managers to try and adopt the new approach. FPD has substantial in-house and network capacity for expert technical advice, intervention co-design, learning programme co-development [including instructional design, content development (face-to-face, blended, virtual and e-learning), content conversion (from face-to-face to e-learning), quality assurance and accreditation, facilitation (including training of Trainers)], implementation research, and professional and systemic coaching services. Our approach is based on an appreciation of the importance of local voice in setting the development agenda, and as a prerequisite for local ownership, a commitment to co-design and mutual accountability, and an action-learning cycle to reflect on performance and promote growth.
