Finance department
The Finance department plays a critical role in supporting and managing FPD's financial resources and those of its partners. The department is responsible for maintaining sound financial management practices, ensuring compliance with international standards, donor requirements, and regulatory obligations.
FPD has built a reputation for financial integrity, demonstrated through consistently unqualified audit reports and clean donor audit outcomes. The department manages complex funding portfolios and maintains compliance with the requirements of major international funders and development partners.

Facilities management
The Facilities unit is responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and efficient working environment that supports the organisation's day-to-day operations. The team oversees infrastructure management, facility maintenance, utilities, office administration and health and safety compliance.

As part of its commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability, FPD received an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Green Rating in 2025. This achievement reflects the organisation's dedication to responsible energy management, environmental compliance, and alignment with global sustainability goals.
Human Resources Administration
The Human Resources Administration department is dedicated to supporting employees throughout their journey with FPD while ensuring compliance with all employment-related legislation and donor requirements. The department delivers responsive, people-centred HR services that contribute to a productive and engaging workplace.

Developing future talent
FPD is committed to developing future professionals through workplace learning opportunities. The organisation hosts interns with university qualifications, providing valuable practical experience designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and the workplace. In addition, FPD offers structured workplace experience opportunities for TVET College students who have completed the theoretical component of their N4 to N6 qualifications. Through this programme, participants receive mentorship, coaching and hands-on exposure to the workplace while completing the 18 months of experiential training required for the award of their national diploma.
