STRATEGIC INFORMATION & TECHNOLOGY UNIT (SITU)

We exist to put systems in position, building the digital and data foundation that turns information into insight and insight into wisdom for informed decision-making for FPD and our clients. The SITU was formed by integrating FPD’s IT function into the Strategic Information Unit, sharpening our mandate to establish the right platforms, standards, and automations for scalable, secure operations.

Our mission: developing systems to strategically position FPD and its clients reflects this focus and the origin of “SITU” from the Latin for “in position.”



Data Platforms & Business Intelligence

We consolidate multi-source data into governed pipelines and surface it in decision-ready Power BI dashboards and a secure, role-based Data Gallery for executives and teams.



Systems Engineering & Automation

We prioritise robust foundations including identity, integrations, and DevOps, delivering high-leverage upgrades and optimisations across Azure, SharePoint, REDCap, and core internal systems.



Digital Learning & Web

We modernise student administration, payments, LMS access (Canvas/Moodle), and web experiences to create immediate, seamless learner journeys.



AI Adoption & Governance

We drive responsible AI uptake through a curated AI Use Case repository with short “how to” videos, recommended prompts, and security guidance embedded on the employee dashboard to scale safe, productive use.



Monitoring, Evaluation & Analytics

We design M&E architectures, data tools, and reporting that meet donor and regulatory requirements while enabling learning and adaptive management.
